Warship 2007

Founding editor, the late Anthony Preston, would be pleased to know that the high standard he set for Warship is being maintained. This edition follows the tradition of a selection of extended feature articles covering a range of naval topics from history to the present, with a round up of naval news from the previous year. Each article is well illustrated with bandw images and drawings. The ten articles include an account of the Sea Slug Missile Trials Ship HMS Girdle, the British plan to destroy the German High Seas Fleet using a carrier strike force in 1918, defeated only by the German surrender, a review of carrier development for the Italian Navy, Japanese Hatsuharu Class destroyers, and an examination of the the loss of the battleship Novorossiisk.
