DESCRIPTION: Directed by the Director of “The Last King Of Scotland” with good lighting and atmospheric scenes. The story places Marcus Aquila (Channing Tatum) in 140AD Britain. After an heroic battle as a fort commander, Marcus Aquila is invalided out of the Legion. With the help of a newly acquired British slave, Marcus Aquila sets out for Scotland to find the answers to how his father disappeared leading the IXth Legion. The loss of the Legion and its Eagle emblem resulted in family dishonour. With the aid of his slave Esca (Jamie Bell)Marcus Aquila finds the answers and restores family honour. The video is excellent entertainment and rated for 12 years and over viewing. Although a fiction, the video combines some sound history with imagination in a seamless tale with some well shot action scenes. The bonus material includes an alternative ending, some deleted scenes, and an account of the making of the film.
