The Opel motor company provided a range of vehicles adapted for military use from the start of German re-armament. The Opel P-4 was used as the basis of a tank mock-up for training because the Germans were so short of the real thing.
The Opel Kadett, Super 6, Kapitan and Admiral are all covered, using photographs shot by normal German soldiers.
The MMP readership began as keen modellers publishing organization and it continues to be an important part of their market, but these books are also eagerly sought by military history enthusiasts to augment their libraries where so many military history books contain very few photographic images.
There are brief introductions, for each of the vehicles covered, at the front of the book and every image includes a very informative caption or extended caption. The images are rare and most have not previously appeared in a book, coming from private archives.
