This is basically a fun book. The author describes how to build a very low cost off-road vehicle that is not intended to comply with any regulations for road use or to meet specifications for track and off-road competition. There is a requirement to have access to suitable land where the buggy can be driven legally.

Ferguson TE-20 Tractor, 1946 onwards (TE-20, TO-20, TO-30, TO-35, FF-30), Enthusiasts’ Manual
Along with the Land Rover, the Ferguson tractor transformed post-war Britain’s agriculture. In 1946, the Ferguson tractor arrived in a world where the horse was still the most common agricultural power source.
NAME: The Magnificent 7
Enthusiasts may argue over which is the “real” 7, but Caterham brought the vehicle forward without losing the essence of the Chapman Lotus 7 and that was something he would have entirely approved of. When the 7 celebrated 50 years in 2007, it was still firmly within the concept of the first Lotus 7. It seems likely that there will still be numbers of 7s being driven on track and road when it comes time to celebrate the first century of a magnificent vehicle. It is also likely that this book will still be the definitive account of the Magnificent 7.
Build Your Own Sports Car, on a budget
The author has provided all of the information to enable every part required to either be taken from a donor vehicle, and the vehicle built at home with fairly basic engineering equipment. If the reader has confidence in his or her skill level, and follows all of the advice and instruction contained in the manual, it is possible to build a street legal vehicle, submit it for British DVLA approval and also use it in track and hill climb competition for an amazingly low price.
Outdoor Survival, a step-by-step guide to practical bush craft and survival outdoors
It continues to be surprising that so many embark on ambitious travels without bothering to ensure they know how to handle an emergency and not carrying the appropriate survival aids. Every year mountain and wilderness rescue teams comb inhospitable areas in search of those who wandered off without leaving messages, taking a means of communication, having maps, water and food for emergencies and without any reliable knowledge of first aid or a first aid kit. They are matched by those who put to sea in unreliable craft and without adequate knowledge of seamanship. Most are lucky and survive, largely due to the efforts of first attenders and volunteers who put there own lives at risk to save those who failed to prepare adequately.
Aquarium Manual
Fish keeping has always been a popular hobby. This manual really serves two purposes. It provides all of the information to decide where, or if, to start collecting fish. It shows how modern aquarium equipment makes it as straight forward to keep tropical and/or salt water fish as it does to keep fresh water fish that do not require their aquarium to be heated or cooled. The high quality of illustration makes this a book that will appeal to a wide readership if only for the illustrations and details of fish that can be kept successfully in an aquarium. It is also essential to deciding which fish to keep because their shapes and colours are frequently the starting point, determining what equipment will then be required to provide a suitable environment.
Eco-House Manual
This manual looks at how the home can be improved and how money can be saved, but it also shows how the quality of life can be improved. House building has been driven by economics and the availability of local skills and materials. The result is many homes are not as well-shaped to the needs and comfort of their occupants.
Wallace & Gromit, Cracking Contraptions Manual
There is just the right combination of fun, nonsense, technology and entertainment to hold the attention of a young reader and fire the thought processes that develop knowledge, understanding and imagination. There are wacky inventions and things that are almost practical.
Roary The Racing Car, Silver Hatch Racetrack’s No.1 Star!
Fashions come and fashions go, but there is still no substitute for colourful books that an adult can read to a child from. It is the point where knowledge begins to build in the young mind and the enthusiasm for books begins.
Competition Car Aerodynamics, second edition
The author has provided a practical review of the theory and practice of aerodynamics in motor racing. The book follows the proven Haynes format of supporting text with lavish illustration, using colour were appropriate through the book and supporting photographs with graphs and drawings. The result is a book that caters for several levels of interest and skill in its chosen subject.
